I wrote this song early in the pandemic - around June. I didn’t really want to write a pandemic song at the time. I naively thought things would wrap up soon and a Covid song wouldn't be relevant any more. But bits of this song just sort of bubbled up, so I wrote it. The pandemic is such a huge part of our lives and shared history, even when it's over this little song will serve as a reminder of what we all went through.
